Genuent, LLC is currently seeking a Software Data Engineer for a 6 month+ contract opportunity with our client based in Santa Monica, CA. This role will be 100% remote for the duration of the project. Responsibilities:- Design, architect, develop, scale, and improve our data platform and its services- Build, support and improve the continuous integration / delivery pipelines for our services and jobs- Implement large-scale high-throughput solutions using on-premise and cloud technologies such as Kafka, Spark on Hadoop/Hive/S3, AWS Lambda, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.- Diagnose and debug issues in development, staging and production environments- Collaborate with product/program managers, software developers and analysts in an open, creative environment Must have:2 + years infrastructure, Mgt. tools, AWS/Cloud experience - Java Scala, Big Data Experience, Spark, etc
