JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, ensuring all work meets safety standards and regulations. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, providing excellent customer service while solving plumbing issues efficiently and professionally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
-Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform diagnostic tests to determine the best course of action.
-Respond to emergency calls as part of the on-call rotation, which may require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.
-Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
-Assist in training junior technicians and provide mentorship as needed.
- Ensure all plumbing work is compliant with local codes and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining issues and solutions to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
-Ability to use plumbing software to check in and out of each job
-Ability to write up estimates and final invoices utilizing computer software
-Company Vehicle provided and ability to maintain a clean, organized and sufficiently stocked truck at all times
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the plumbing field
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials.
