Production Equipment Technician

We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Production Equipment Technician at our headquarters in Santa Maria, CA. The Product Equipment Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager, and is guided and mentored by the Production Equipment Senior Technician. Primary duties include scheduled preventive maintenance, repair and improvement to chronic production equipment performance issues, with the focus on reduction of manufacturing downtime. Duties also include general maintenance and failure-related repair of production equipment, as well as assisting with special projects as necessary. Employee will be available for a regular schedule that provides maintenance coverage through the end of the production workday. Employee assists in the general upkeep and repair of facilities systems as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

One-year certificate from college or technical school is desirable; or two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A high school diploma or GED is required.
