Key responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and support to residents with dementia, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
- Building significant relationships with residents and their families, encouraging a sense of trust and security.
- Assisting with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal assistance, and medication management.
- Creating a warm and engaging environment that strengthens the quality of life for residents.
Qualifications:
- Must have compassion to work with adults with cognitive decline
- Must be honest, fair, and dependable
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must practice and promote Family Connect Care’s Policies and Procedures, Core Values and Founding Principles
- Meet all health requirements and pass background checks
- Must be 18 years of age and older
- CPR Card- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families
FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS
- Must be willing to be flexible and work the following shifts: 12pm-7pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am, 10am- 6pm, 7am-3pm and 8am-4pm
- Patience, resilience, and adaptability in navigating the challenges and rewards of dementia care.
