The Line Cook position is located in Buellton, CA – a city surrounded by beautiful wineries and gorgeous landscapes. This position is Full Time and Temp to Hire, with the schedule to be determined upon hire (schedule will vary), evenings and weekend work is required. The pay rate for this position is $16/hr. Duties and Responsibilities:

Completes daily food preparation and cleaning checklists in accordance with property standards

Follows instruction and guidance from chefs, supervisors, and managers at any time

Responds positively to constructive feedback and work to improve skills daily

Communicates effectively with Front of House employees when necessary

Interacts with guests at live cooking stations, acting in accordance with company service standards

Pulls food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator or under running water

Regulates temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roaster

Communicates assistance needed during busy periods

Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others; supports team to reach common goals

Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintains confidentiality of proprietary information; protects company assets

Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; completes safety training and certifications

Reports maintenance issues; follows up to ensure resolution

Collaborates with Facilities Manager to coordinate project timelines and shared labor

Creates and implements regular deep cleaning schedule

Participate in employee meetings

Assist other departments on high turn days

Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

Dependable, punctual, impeccable attendance record

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Must have good manual dexterity

Accurate, attention to detail, service oriented

Strong organizational skills

Positive attitude, strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Professional demeanor

Must be able to work on feet for extended periods

Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

1-2 years of hospitality experience is a plus but not required
