Description We are seeking a Staff/Sr. Accountant to join our team based in SANTA FE SPRINGS, California. This role functions within the manufacturing industry, with responsibilities including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial records and reporting.Responsibilities: Overseeing and executing account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy. Conducting balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Managing general ledger activities to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions. Interfacing and interacting with auditors to provide necessary financial information. Assisting in the preparation of government reports to ensure regulatory compliance. Leveraging MS Great Plains Dynamics for efficient accounting operations. Applying expertise in manufacturing cost accounting to provide accurate cost information. Assisting with administrative tasks to support overall team operations. Interacting with other departments, particularly manufacturing and sales, to provide accurate financial information. Utilizing knowledge of the Japanese language to facilitate communication with our HQ in Japan. This role requires a hands-on individual with experience in corporate-level accounting, reporting, and interacting with auditors. Proficiency in various software applications such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Sage 300 is necessary. Additionally, knowledge of the Japanese language is a plus. The role is 100% on-site and offers a generous benefits package. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations Profound understanding of General Ledger maintenance and Journal Entries Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with Month End Close procedures Familiarity with software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Sage 300, and MS Great Plains Dynamics Fluency in Japanese Language is an advantage Prior experience in Manufacturing industry Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Costs Degree in Accounting or relevant field Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information Willingness to continuously update knowledge and skills.
