Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, California. This role is within the Wholesale Distribution industry, where you'll focus on overseeing financial activities, ensuring accurate record keeping, and making strategic financial decisions. This position does not require a transition into another employment type.Responsibilities: Oversee the financial activities of the company, ensuring all transactions align with company policies and regulations Implement and manage efficient accounting software systems to process customer credit applications Maintain accurate customer credit records and ensure the integrity of financial data Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Utilize skills in logistics and distribution to improve operational efficiency Conduct regular audits to check for discrepancies and rectify them Oversee accounting functions such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manage budget processes to ensure resources are allocated effectively Use MS Great Plains Dynamics for financial management and reporting. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in 3M Experience with Accounting Software Systems Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in CRM Familiarity with Crystal Reports Proficiency in Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Auditing skills Familiarity with Budget Processes Proficiency in MS Great Plains Dynamics Experience in Logistics & Distribution Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field Proven experience as a financial controller in a wholesale distribution company Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong analytical and strategic planning skills Ability to manage and lead team Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software An analytical mind with a strategic ability Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
