We are seeking an experienced Leader to lead the design, development and delivery of next-generation technologies within our GlobalProtect team. We want passionate Leaders who are hands-on, love to build great products and who bring new ideas in all facets of software development. We are looking for Leaders who take coaching and mentoring to heart and inspire their organization to scale horizontally and vertically. Collaboration and teamwork are at the foundation of our culture and we need Leaders who can communicate at a high level and work well with others inside and outside of the GlobalProtect team towards achieving a common goal for Palo Alto Networks.We expect office-based employees to be in the office four days per week, with one day working from where they choose. We believe being together facilitates casual conversations and those magic moments where we can work on issues and ideas informally. These moments build capability and deepen trusted relationships and allow our people to feel safe in taking risks and being disruptive. Like so many companies, we are working through the details and things could change …. but in general if a role is deemed office-based we want our teams to be together four days per week.Your ImpactYou will be responsible for Innovation, Development and Sustenance of  GlobalProtect client product on multiple platformsYou will work with product management to develop and define roadmapsYou will apply your knowledge to review and critique system architectures and low-level designsCollaborate closely with Support teams to reduce GP call-volume and instill a metrics-driven mentality in the team to reduce the time taken to resolve customer issuesInteract with quality assurance teams to drive high-levels of Automation in GlobalProtect softwareYou will introduce processesdiscipline in the Engineering team to deliver high-quality software You will actively communicate (written and verbal) with Executive audienceBe a reliable mentor and coach for your organization
