Senior Engineering Manager, GPU SW Security

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager with experience running technical security programs/teams for GPU Software. You will be responsible for ensuring that the GPU SW organization is able to attest to the security hardness and correctness of its features, to both internal and external partners. You will also be responsible for remediations, identifying and driving long-term actions to improve NVIDIA software security posture. The role is expected to drive a large vertical within SW from SW/HW interfaces, embedded, to customer facing containers, AI models. You will work with the director of systems software in NVIDIA’s GPU software organization. What you'll be doing:

Lead a team to review all GPU software features for security risk and provide guidance and sign off to technical teams on a feature basis

Identify long-term actions, design patterns and architectural improvements to NVIDIA’s defensive security posture

Work closely with the development team to ensure that security is integrated into the development process

Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities and methodologies, in order to make sure NVIDIA stays on the cutting edge

Actively guide and be a voice for security in long term design decisions

Partner with key security stakeholders in the org and represent the GPU software org

What we need to see:

Bachelors or master’s in computer science, Computer Engineering, related field (or equivalent experience)

10+ years of industry experience with 5+ years managing a team

Strong understanding of software security principles and application of them

Proven experience working breadth-first in the design and development of large, cross-functional systems software

Practical approach to security, representing a large engineering team working on diverse feature set

Experience leading a team

Ability navigating across a large organization to achieve results

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Deep technical knowledge of system software, kernels, embedded systems

Hands on security knowledge securing a variety of scopes: architecture, vertical stack, containers, system SW, embedded

Understanding of HW security concepts a strong plus

The base salary range is 268,000 USD - 414,000 USD.
