Summary of Job Details

Under the general supervision of the Student and Academic Affairs Manager of the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education (GGSE) and in collaboration with the Graduate Advisors and Department Chairs for Education and Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology, coordinates the review and processing of graduate and undergraduate minor applications as well as admission decision documentation; monitors and assesses progress of enrolled Dept. of Education and Dept. of Clinical, Counseling and School Psychology graduate and GGSE undergraduate minor students; serves as information resource for enrolled students, GGSE faculty and staff, and prospective graduate and undergraduate minor applicants. Uses substantive knowledge of University and departmental policies and procedures to provide thorough and thoughtful guidance to Department Chairs and Graduate Advisors. Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, and utilization of good decision-making skills in all aspects of job duties.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Less than 1 year of experience working in an office setting/administrative work.

Creatively problem solve.

Ability to identify and resolve problems.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to work with diverse populations, multicultural competencies.

Special Conditions of Employment

Satisfactory conviction history background check.
