Office Coordinator Needed at Architecture & Interior Design Firm

Santa Barbara based architectural and interior design firm, currently has a position available for a full-time Office Coordinator.

The Firm specializes in high-end residential design and luxury commercial projects. Ideal candidate will work directly with Principal Architects, Interior Designers, and staff. Applicant must be capable of quickly shifting gears in a fast-paced team environment. Our firm delivers a first-class client experience and inspirational design.

Candidate will be responsible for the daily office operations, including but not limited to the following:

-Complete daily opening and closing office procedures

-Maintaining a clean and organized office environment

-Interface with clients, direct and screen incoming phone calls, collecting and distributing mail

-Stocking layout tables, copy machines and office supplies orders

-Create and coordinate meetings, conference calls, and maintain Outlook Calendar appointments

-Electronic and paper record-keeping and file maintenance

-Assist with facilitating IT communication and software licensing

-Support with marketing, social media and special projects

Candidate will also be given tasks by the Architectural and Interior Design teams as needed, with consideration to the individual’s ability and experience in doing so.

Applicant requirements for this position are as follows:

-Self-motivated individual with strong multi-tasking, troubleshooting and time management skills Highly adaptive, able to learn quickly and collaborate in a fast-paced team environment

-Customer service/office maintenance experience.

-Professional appearance and etiquette.

-Positive attitude and work ethic.

-Desire to create a solid career foundation and a willingness to learn and grow as a professional

-Solid software skills using Microsoft Word, Office, Outlook and Excel.

-Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe design products, Studio Webware, etc. are not required, but are a plus.

-Some travel/running errands involved. Will need a vehicle and valid CA driver’s license.
