Job Title: Warehouse Assistant – Youth Employment Program (16yrs -24yrs)
Hours: 20-25 hour
Shift: 9am – 2pm
Under general supervision, is assigned responsibilities related to the operations of the warehouse. Receives, stores, and issues materials, and supplies. The nature of the work may require considerable physical effort, heavy lifting, and manual dexterity.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Depending upon assignment, duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Job Responsibilities
1) Assist with sorting, bagging, and barcoding of food and clothing donated items
2) Assist with retail store operations
3) Assist with facilities maintenance and organizing duties – sweeping, wiping tables, throwing trash away
4) Unload pallets from vehicles; Lift 50lbs
5) Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
6) Communicates effectively orally
7) Performs other related duties as assigned
