State Street Ballet is searching for an important new member of our growing team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Maintain the organization’s annual calendar of performances and events

- Assist Directors with administrative tasks, including but not limited to; data entry and upkeep, financial tracking, grant writing, event and performance planning and implementation, tour and travel planning, program planning and implementation

- Manage daily operations, oversee company procedures, and ensure that the office and studios are running smoothly

- Prepare, review, and maintain employee files and documents

- Assist with payroll

- Work with Directors, making sure that employees feel welcomed, informed about their benefits, and prepared to excel in their roles

- Maintain employee personnel and administrative records, including but not limited to: employment, salary, benefits, and feedback

Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; effective in creating, implementing, and improving systems

- Highly skilled at project and time management, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize for efficacy

- Excellent communicator; exceptional oral and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Proficiency in office software and administrative programs: QuickBooks, Donor Perfect, Google Workspace, etc.

- Familiarity with spreadsheets and data management

- Bilingual English & Spanish preferred

Scheduling:

- Part time with the potential to become full time, approximately 20-25 hours per week to start

- Must be able to work evenings and weekends if needed (for performance and events)

- Ability for some remote hours with approval from the Directors

Pay and Benefits

- Starting Pay Range: $19.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience

- Part-time at 20-25 hours per week with the potential to become full time

- 2 weeks per year of paid vacation

- 10 days per year of sick time off
