We are hiring an optician to manage customer interactions and sales for eyeglasses. You will be asked generally to answer phone calls and emails, respond to customer questions and complaints, and walk customers through the process of purchasing eyeglasses.
Responsibilities
Communicating with patients to answer questions, resolve issues, and help them understand their purchase options. Contacting customers to provide updates on order status.
Providing information about product and service offerings.
Promoting a positive customer experience and maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers.
Answering patient questions about insurance and promotional options.
Taking measurements, and fitting customers for eyewear.
Processing orders, insurance, and transactions.
Managing the inspection of completed eyewear orders before delivery to the customer.
Participating in end of day duties as needed, such as cleaning and restocking inventory.
Skills
High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
Experience in Eye Care Field/ABO Certification preferred
1 year experience in customer support or sales role preferred.
