Do you love food and people? Join our team today! We're looking for an individual with 2+ years experience in a leadership or management role, to come fill either our General Manager position, or Assistant Manager role.
We are a full-service restaurant—food, cocktails, wine, beer, etc. We offer lively environment with both indoor & outdoor seating—family friendly & dog-friendly!
If you are a fast-learner, team-player, easy going (and outgoing), good with technology and managing multiple things at a time, this position may be for you!
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO:
- Lead a team of all-levels in a fast-paced environment
- Hold empathy and authenticity
- Support staff with a positive attitude, and collaborative mindset—but also have the ability to learn from those around you (teamwork makes the dream work!)
- Provide superb customer service and [at any time] step-in as bartender, server, host, busser, et
- Work with a wide array of personalities and people; manage relationships with external vendors, partners, stakeholders, executives, etc
- Remain organized in an often chaotic environment + handle any/all paperwork for onboarding, deliveries, etc
- Coordinate schedules (i.e. working hours & shifts for employees + attend / organize staff meetings + own trainings)
- Know the restaurant from the inside-out — ultimately as the GM (and Assistant Manager), you are the "go-to" person for everything from arranging events, recruitment, operations, menus, ensuring that the restaurant is stocked in all capacities & adjusting accordingly
- Sell—and up-sell—everything! Teach your staff members these things too
- Manage financials, sales, ROI, etc (GM)
- Walk around, converse frequently with others, stand for long periods of time, and lift 30+ lbs on occasion
- Diffuse problems and put out fires in a calm and respectful manner, when needed

Must have experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industries
Must be able to work in Santa Barbara, in-person, daily
Must be 21+
Must have 2 years prior experience in leading a team, or managing 2+ individuals
Be able to provide references
NOTES:
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
- Knowledge of POS a plus
