Note: We are only accepting applicants with hospitality knowledge & experience (mid-level; senior-level). Must have prior experience in overseeing business operations as well as human resources, finance, and communications.
(If you do not have prior management experience and references, you will not be considered.)
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership. Set a positive, warm, welcoming example. As GM, you will oversee the entire restaurant, and be 'the face' of it
- Customer Service—ensure every single person who enters the restaurant feels welcomed and receives great food, drinks, service, etc
- Operations / Inventory—control purchases and inventory to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with head chef to prevent any food waste
- Financials—track payroll, set budgets, manage sales and expenses
- Recruitment—staff entire restaurant; hire and onboard new employees as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 3+ years prior experience managing an entire restaurant, bar, or both
Have Food Handler's and RBS certifications (or willing to get them)
Located in Santa Barbara / Goleta — must be willing and able, to drive to/from work every morning, and evening
Able to lift 30+ pounds
Available Full-Time
Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
Knowledge of TOAST POS system a plus
