The Santa Barbara County Education Office is seeking an adaptive and diligent team player with a clean driving record to help keep our campuses clean and on occasion deliver items to our offices located throughout Santa Barbara County.
Please note that the majority of this assignment will consist of Custodian duties. Delivery driver duties will only be needed in the case that any of our Delivery Driver staff do not report to work.
40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
May occasionally require nights and weekends.

General Description
Under the direction of the Maintenance and Operations Supervisor, perform custodial and routine maintenance duties to assigned buildings; deliver materials and equipment and other items to various locations.
Requirements
Education: Any combination equivalent to sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above
Experience: One year experience in the care and cleaning of building and facilities, including delivery duties.
Enrollment in the California Department of Motor Vehicles Government Employer Pull Notice Program is required as a condition of employment in this classification.
Compensation
$3,461 - $4,401 per month (hiring range; current top step $4,860 per month); salary step increase upon completion of probationary period.
