Position Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and highly organized Executive Assistant to support the
daily operations of First Response Shredding. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a flexible
work environment, enjoys variety, and has strong communication skills. You'll help keep things running
behind the scenes while supporting customer engagement and business growth.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Communication
Respond to emails and phone inquiries professionally and promptly
Draft and send correspondence to clients and vendors
Manage inbound leads and scheduling requests
Administrative Support
Coordinate scheduling of service routes and meetings
Maintain organized digital files and records
Assist with invoicing, billing, and vendor payments using QuickBooks Online
Marketing & Social Media
Assist with managing LinkedIn and other social media accounts
Help create and schedule content, including service updates and promotional campaigns
Operational Support
Track service activity and maintain client communication logs
Coordinate with the owner on client retention, sales leads, and community outreach
Attend weekly in-person check-in meeting in Santa Barbara
Qualifications:
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in customer service and/or office management
Comfortable with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-person meetings
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time: 10–15 hours/week with flexibility
One in-person meeting per week in Santa Barbara
Competitive hourly pay (DOE)
