The Reconstruction Sr. Project Manager is crucial in executing and supervising reconstruction projects. This role involves significant field work to ensure projects are completed with the highest quality and efficiency. Collaborating closely with the Estimator, the Sr. Project Manager ensures that all projects are executed within the stipulated timeframe, within budget constraints, and adhere to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
The Reconstruction Sr. Project Manager will perform the following duties, along with any additional responsibilities as assigned:
Stakeholder Engagement:
Develop and nurture relationships with all project stakeholders.
Ensure clear, consistent, and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Execution:
Adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety.
Conduct regular site visits, oversee quality, safety, and compliance, and coordinate with the Estimator.
Manage materials and labor, ensuring efficient resource use and adherence to project budgets.
Obtain necessary permits and manage building inspections to comply with regulatory and code requirements.
Customer Experience:
Maintain open communication with customers, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality and timely results.
Operational Duties:
Document project progression and provide necessary updates and reports.
Monitor project budgets in collaboration with the Estimator.
Ensure complete closure of projects and preparation for final invoicing.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in construction and/or restoration.
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Ability to interpret project-related documents like scopes of work and blueprints.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
A valid driver's license in alignment with company policies.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to perform diverse physical tasks in various environments.
Work Environment
Primarily field-based, requiring adaptability to outdoor construction zones and office spaces.
