Position Overview:
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will manage all aspects of accounting/bookkeeping, and human resources for the company. This includes overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. You’ll work closely with the senior management team to provide essential and best practices for the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the general ledger, including posting transactions and reconciling accounts.
Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll tax laws.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare, review and coordinate monthly billing with senior managers.
Manage all 401k participants, plan policy and year end census.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
Handle tax filings, including sales tax, business and property tax renewals and licenses.
Manage and track company expenses, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Assist with year-end reports and tax preparation.
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal team members regarding financial inquiries.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Deltek Vision or similar accounting software.
Experience with payroll processing and tax filings.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
