Description One of our clients in the San Ramon area is looking for a Payroll Specialist for a contract to permanent placement.Contact Ade Henderson via LinkedIn for immediate consideration
Process payroll for [number of employees] employees on a [frequency] basis.
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Maintain payroll records and employee data.
Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits.
Stay up-to-date with relevant payroll laws and regulations.
Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee information.
Assist in year-end payroll reporting and reconciliation.
Handle payroll-related documentation and filings.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
High degree of confidentiality and integrity.
