Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the services industry, based in San Ramon, California. The role is for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst who will be instrumental in managing and executing our financial and accounting operations.Responsibilities: Serve as an expert on financial business systems and policies in the ERP system. Review and approve invoices and requisitions, aligning them with budgets/forecasts and facilitating approvals. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team for accurate, timely reporting. Ensure relevance and accuracy in monthly AP accruals, journals, and prepaid amortizations. Actively identify and reconcile financial discrepancies, improve management reporting through comprehensive research and solutions. Develop and use complex financial workbooks for decision-making. Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to influence business strategy. Provide accurate financial reports on company performance metrics. Analyze large datasets to find trends and deliver actionable insights. Work cross-functionally to understand and translate company's operations into financial performance. Handle ad-hoc data requests from leadership regarding financial performance and other financial information.Requirements A Bachelor's degree in areas such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration is required. Over 3 years of relevant work experience in financial planning, analysis or a similar business field. Must have strong Excel skills, including the ability to utilize different simple and complex formulas and functions for data analysis. Must be skilled in using data visualization tools. Previous experience with business analytics solutions, like PowerBI Adaptive Insights Pursuit of an advanced degree or relevant certifications (for instance, CPA, CFA or CMA) is a plus.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
