Develop and Implement Safety Plans:

Create comprehensive safety plans tailored to each construction project.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Educate workers on proper safety procedures and equipment usage.

Perform Regular Safety Inspections:

Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards.

Implement corrective actions to address any safety violations.

Accident Investigation:

Investigate any accidents or near-misses on the construction site.

Prepare detailed reports and recommend measures to prevent future incidents.

Safety Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents.

Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.

Coordinate with Project Managers:

Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into project plans.

Provide guidance on safety-related issues during project planning and execution.

Promote a Culture of Safety:

Encourage a proactive approach to safety among all site workers.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management.

Proven track record of successfully managing safety programs on construction sites.

Certifications:

OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification required.

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred.

Skills:

good knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
