SummarySUMMARY: Supervises the operation of the x-ray section at San Leandro Hospital.DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NOTE: The following are the duties performed by employees in this classification. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification.Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Performs standard supervisory functions, including administration, recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, training, coaching, mentoring, task assignment, performance evaluation, progressive discipline, conflict resolution and allocating staff resources.

Provides in-service training for journeyman technicians.

Responsible for maintenance of department technical section supplies; responsible for preparation of radiologic rooms.

Works on quality improvement projects and assists with reviewing and writing policies and procedures.
