Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr People Analyst for a Contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA or Remote (Time Zone Flexible). Responsibilities :
- Management (CRM) system and Talent Management Succession Planning Implementation:
- Drive metric design and reporting in partnership with the People Analytics team and vendor partners (Phenom for CRM; Workday for Succession)
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Talent Management teams to understand key business priorities and convert them into reporting and metrics requirements
- Design Talent Acquisition and Talent Management business KPIs and operational metrics
- Articulate rationale for creating new metrics: how they help answer specific business questions, how they contribute to/augment existing metrics
- Design and build new reports and dashboard wireframes
- Design dashboard wireframes based on business requirements/business needs
- Partner closely with Tech and Data Ops team to ensure data governance perspective is incorporated as part of design and implementation
- Assist with data migration and conversion
- Own report testing and assist with UAT (User Acceptance Test)
- Support the rollout and sustain phase of the project, help with reporting enhancement requests
- Provide Insights Support:
- Work with HRBPs and HR COE teams to understand key questions they are seeking to answer.
- Advise on which people metrics from the employee lifecycle (e.g. recruiting, hiring, internal mobility, promotion, attrition, demographics and D&I) are most relevant to leverage to answer specific business questions.
- Articulate hypotheses that can be answered using data and metrics
- Perform statistical analyses on people data
- People Analytics
- Deep knowledge of people analytics (Recruiting, Hiring, Headcount, Promotion and Mobility, and Attrition) (REQUIRED)
- Experience with generating hypotheses using people data (REQUIRED)
- Experience with performing statistical analysis on people data (REQUIRED)
- Reporting
- Workday HCM: Report writer & calculated fields experience (REQUIRED)
- Consulting/Stakeholder Engagement
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (REQUIRED)
- Training/Education in people analytics or I/O Psychology (Required)
- BA/BS in relevant field
- Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and highly confidential data (PREFERRED)
- Experience advising on people data to HRBPs and/or HR COE teams (PREFERRED)
- Experience with data visualization with people data (PREFERRED)
- MA/MS in relevant field is preferred
