Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to oversee a complex off-site capital project supporting data center infrastructure in the San Jose area. This role will lead all aspects of civil engineering and construction, including coordination with city and municipal agencies, tribal and protected lands, and various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring deep civil expertise, strong leadership, and experience navigating regulatory environments.This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days per week onsite in San Jose, CA.
 Key Responsibilities:Lead the full lifecycle of civil construction projects, from preconstruction through commissioning.Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders including city officials, tribal representatives, and regulatory bodies.Ensure alignment across all parties and maintain clear, consistent communication.Identify and mitigate risks related to land use, permitting, and environmental impact.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including protected land protocols.Enforce safety standards and conduct regular site audits.Ensure all civil work meets quality specifications and industry standards.Manage project budgets and financial tracking.Implement cost control measures and ensure adherence to financial targets.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.Manage contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.Oversee civil scope execution and resolve field issues as needed.Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, permits, reports, and submittals.Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.Support final inspections and commissioning activities.Facilitate smooth handover to operations teams.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
