Project Coordinator

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Project Coordinator in San Jose, California. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, focusing on supporting and coordinating various project activities. This role will be hybrid and require 2 days onsite in office.Responsibilities: Contribute to process enhancements by documenting existing procedures, conducting team interviews, and proposing new methodologies. Take an active role in coordinating the execution of project tasks. Facilitate the migration of content to the new intranet platform in collaboration with the Intranet Manager and Project Manager. Create comprehensive user manuals and training resources for end-users. Organize training sessions and workshops to enable seamless adoption of new systems. Promptly identify and resolve technical issues and bugs. Undertake quality assurance testing to ensure optimal performance. Act as a first point of contact for employees, providing guidance and answering queries. Set up an immediate help desk following the system launch. Facilitate meetings and document key points. Address user requirements effectively, including the delivery of less favorable responses. Support change management initiatives and assist the lead change manager. Leverage in-depth knowledge of the intranet system and SharePoint to enhance operational efficiency. Demonstrate assertiveness and decision-making skills to know when to escalate issues. Provide direction, enforce policies, and handle repeated user inquiries effectively.Requirements Strong documentation skills with experience in creating SOPs and training materials. Experience in Gathering Requirements, with the skill to identify and outline necessary resources for project completion. Demonstrated ability in Project Coordination, including the management of timelines, resources, and team communication. Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft SharePoint, with the capability to manage and organize project-related documents and data. Experience in crafting User Guides, aiding in the clear communication of project instructions and procedures. Strong understanding of Process Improvement strategies, with a focus on increasing efficiency within project operations.
