- The HVAC Trainer supports corporate goals for the Learning & Development department to create modern, relevant, and exciting service training tools & technologies.
- You will be a critical team member helping the Director of Training & Development at the Training Academy Facility.
- The HVAC Trainer is responsible for course material development for Microsoft PowerPoint and presentations
- Develop, create, update, and organize HVAC training curriculum materials used in coursework for consistency and continuity nationwide.
- Perform presentations and training for in-house and third-party contractors as it relates to technical HVAC sales content.
- Oversee the preparation of the training facility to be a structured environment in teaching product installation, product sales and services teaching initiatives.
- Work as necessary onsite at the Martinez, CA training center. Work alongside remote teams and regional stakeholders on scheduling, supervisory, remote training initiatives, and cross-collaboration
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the HVAC industry with a desire to get into Training & Development if not already having been experienced in this area.
- LOCATION REQUIREMENT: East Bay-Area, Cali (Hybrid), must be willing to relocate if not local to the area.
- Any Learning Management, Training or Coaching experience when it comes to HVAC is highly preferred but not a hard requirement.
- Excellent people skills, patient, resourceful, ability to communicate with diverse audiences, highly professional, deeply passionate about HVAC technologies and the HVAC industry.
- PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be available for occasional travel by airline, personal vehicle, or rental car.
- Clean Driver's License, Reliable Transportation, A Major Credit Card for tracking of expenses,
- Criminal background check conducted prior to hiring - Drug screening test for controlled substances will be conducted as well.
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish, both verbal & written for content highly preferred
- Knowledge of Mini-Splits and VRF is nice to have.
- Basic HTML, visual editing, audio editing, basic graphic design skills along with experience with any learning management software and/or learning and development software are all nice-to-haves.
