Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical interim Senior Pricing and SKU Analyst to join a Fortune 500 client. The Senior Pricing and SKU Analyst will be responsible for managing pricing strategies, SKU tracking, and CPQ rules across multiple systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate pricing and SKU management.Responsibilities:
Analyze pricing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to inform pricing decisions.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
Maintain accurate SKU information across multiple systems and platforms.
Track inventory levels and SKU performance to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage SKU updates and product launches.
Implement processes to streamline SKU management and ensure data integrity.
Configure CPQ rules to accurately reflect pricing structures, product configurations, and quoting guidelines.
Collaborate with sales operations and IT teams to troubleshoot CPQ issues and optimize system functionality.
Provide training and support to sales teams on CPQ tools and processes.
Continuously evaluate and improve CPQ rules to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Generate reports and dashboards to track pricing performance and SKU metrics.
Analyze data to identify pricing trends, sales patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in pricing analysis, SKU management, or sales operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Experience with CPQ software (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Apttus) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
