The Content group at NBC Sports Bay Area/California is responsible for the day-to-day planning and production of on-air and digital schedules. Interns will assist in the production of daily content and programs, while also helping various production and marketing related initiatives including research, audio/video production, news gathering, editing content.A snapshot of your responsibilities: Take steps in next-level editing, learning from skilled NBC Sports Bay Area staff editors/managerContribute/support editing needs as part of the daily workloadWork with Manager, Video Producer/Editors on support for upcoming projectsLearn both digital and linear editing platformsUnderstand NBC Sports Media databases and ways to work through for projectsExecuting detail work to procure footage from external sourcesMay be assigned other tasks needed to support the network's day-to-day operations
