Fund Accounting Manager at Real Estate Investment Firm

Supervise month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and third-party accounting.

Lead quarter-end closings and prepare financial statements in accordance with NCREIF and GAAP standards.

Analyze cash flows for investment vehicles.

Approve payables and manage expenditure workflows using NEXUS, Paymode-X/Kyriba, and MRI systems.

Consolidate and reconcile investment accounts across various funds, separate accounts, joint ventures, and co-investments.

Oversee the preparation of monthly reports for investment vehicles.

Coordinate quarterly investor reporting packages and manage REIT maintenance tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related

5+ years of accounting experience in real estate, private equity, or financial services

Familiarity with partnership/fund accounting concepts is essential.

Ability to assess and apply accounting standards to significant transactions.

Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to foster a positive team environment.

Highly organized, flexible, and diligent in follow-up tasks.

Preferred experience with MRI and Juniper Square.
