Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Product Development professional in San Francisco, California. The role involves testing a mechanical gripping device, providing feedback to the engineering team, and managing periods of downtime. This position is predominantly physical, requiring significant periods of standing.Responsibilities: Test and evaluate the performance of the mechanical gripping device. Provide constructive feedback to the engineering team on the functionality and efficiency of the product. Manage periods of downtime effectively while engineers re-program the device. Maintain a record of all tests performed, observations made, and feedback provided. Assist in the lifting and handling of household items using the device. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand the expected outcomes of each test. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during testing procedures. Utilize skills in Administrative Assistance, Customer Service, Data Entry, and Order Entry to perform tasks efficiently. Document and report any issues or malfunctions experienced during the testing phase. Contribute to the overall product development process by suggesting improvements and modifications.Requirements Must have experience in Product Development. Proficiency in Administrative Assistance is required. Prior experience in Customer Service is essential. Data Entry skills are mandatory. Must have experience in Order Entry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of product lifecycle management.
