Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the accounting industry, based in San Francisco, California. This role involves managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, data entry, and regular communication with project managers. The role requires proficiency in Foundation Grants and offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently process invoices for accounts payable Manage accounts receivable, ensuring complexities are appropriately handled Effectively communicate with project managers to gather necessary information Ensure accurate data entry for all accounting tasks Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status Maintain and update customer credit records accurately Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally Regularly review and ensure accuracy of all customer applications Use Foundation Grants software for various accounting tasks Communicate effectively with various teams to ensure smooth operation of accounting tasks. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar Possesses a strong understanding of Foundation Grants Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures Proficient in the use of standard office software such as Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate financial information clearly Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred Experience in a non-profit organization is an asset.
