Location: San Francisco, CA Description: Our client is currently seeking a DATA SCIENTIST - INTERMEDIATE
Required Skills / Experience:1. BA/BS in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Math, Agronomy, Engineering or a relatedquantitative discipline with at least a year of implementing machine learning models ordata science experience.2. Excellent proficiency in Python and SQL3. Detail oriented and capable of performing deep dives into datasets4. Strong communication skills to solicit information from domain experts and presentresults back to a technical audience5. Self starter as well as able to work as part of a team.6. Basic knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistics.Desired Skills / Experience: M.Sc. in an analytics field Experience with exploratory Big Data discovery through the use of technologies such asPySpark. Experience in Machine Learning model building frameworks such as Tensorflow,Pytorch, Keras, scikit-learn. Experience with complex data formats and data of varying quality Experience building data pipelines and interacting with APIs Data storytelling with meaningful, interpretable visualizations Knowledge of agricultural technology especially with regard to row crops Curiosity and an open-mind towards unfamiliar data sources and unfamiliar quantitativedomains.Contact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
