Corporate Content Writer for a Cannabis Website
Mellow Jane is searching for Content Writers for our Compliant Cannabis Platform. Marijuana is on the road to National Legalization and is soon to be a multi-BILLION-dollar industry. So far, its legal recreationally in 10 states and legal medicinally in 33. Were looking for a writer who can stay up on the trends and keep Mellow Jane current with constant news updates and interest pieces for our website.
Job Description
-Report on all Cannabis news with original content
-Optimize content with keywords
-Answer common Google questions in content
-Restructure and update old articles with fresh content/breaking news
-Complete 5-10 well rounded articles per day
Requirements
-Excellent writing skills
-Attention to detail
-Efficient time management
-Exceptional editing and copywriting ability
-Organized
-Experience with online articles and proper citing techniques
-Must be available to work full time out of our Carlsbad Office (at least to start out)
Compensation
Base (DOE) + competitive daily & weekly bonuses based on production
