Responsibilities:
- Assess rooftops for optimal solar panel placement, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Proficiently install solar panels and batteries while adhering to local building codes.
- Collaborate closely with the project manager to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Handle electrical aspects of installations, including wiring, connections, and system testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with existing solar systems efficiently.
- Maintain a tidy and safe job site, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
Requirements:
- Experience with electrical and panel installation.
- Proficiency in working with electrical systems, wiring, and understanding solar panel mechanics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
- Familiarity with Sonnen battery installations / comissioning. We do offer a refresher course!
- Experience with commissioning Enphase and other hybrid system storage and battery components is a plus.
Benefits come with a 3 month evaluation period.
$45 / hour for lead installer
$30 an hour for base level
Pay is based on experience and skillset.
