We are seeking an entry to mid-level Maintenance/Utility Technician to support our buildings M-F 8AM - 5PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Sr. Engineer with HVAC Preventive Maintenance
Re-lamping, ballast replacement, and reset breakers under supervision
Plumbing fixture repairs and drain maintenance
Cut Keys, adjust doors and door closers
Ceiling tile replacement
Perform routine inspections of the building mechanical systems
Perform visual roof inspections and make minor repairs as needed for leaks
Maintain janitorial, utility, and storage rooms
Perform general laborer work as assigned by Sr. Engineer, such as loading/unloading and moving materials
Painting, minor drywall repairs, and patching
Exterior facade inspections
Daily inspection and cleaning of dumpster enclosure
General re-stocking of restroom supplies if needed
General spot check, cleaning of interior and exterior as needed
General dusting as needed
General vacuuming and cleaning as needed
Education and/or Experience:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); some previous related experience
and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is recommended.
Language:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability
to write simple correspondence.
Physical Demands:
The Utility Engineer must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
