Trillium Construction has an immediate long term opportunity for 6G Pipe Welders/Plumbers/Pipefitters.
Pipe Welders – must be pipe welders. They must be able to pass a 6G weld test on schedule 80 6” pipe. They will be stick welding (SMAW). A combo welder would also be a good search and most likely can pass the 6G weld test. Probably need to have welded for 4 years+ to meet the expectation. But send me anyone with 3 years that has good pipe welding experience.
Pipe Fitters – must be Pipe Fitters (not plumbers). A pipe fitter will be experienced in working with all sizes of pipe and will be good and beveling pipe, threading pipe, and will have a resume that shows pipe fitting (not plumbing). Want 3-4 years minimum, but prefer journeymen.
Plumbers – can be a mix of pipe fitter/plumber. The reason is when they have plumbing and pipe fitting in their title and resume; usually means they are a plumber. Plumbers typically work under ground and run pvc, steel, and copper pipe. They do some overhead for HVAC systems like copper lines and condensation lines.
All of these jobs will pay about the same for journeymen. We can pay local people (50 mile radius) up to $55/hour (must be journeyman level). M-F some S, 40-50 hours per week first shift. Temp-to-hire.
