I’m hiring! Oceanside Mechanical is looking for a qualified and experienced HVAC Sheet metal workers & Pipe Fitters, the candidates are responsible for installation of commercial & industrial HVAC Sheetmetal ducting and HVAC piping. They will provide leadership, communication, and technical skills to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively on projects.
The Sheet metal & pipe fitting candidate we are looking for must have strong technical knowledge of metals and HVAC piping and other materials used in the construction industry. They also need to be able to read blueprints and understand how each piece of equipment or material they use affects the product.
Job specific Duties:
Coordinating with project foreman during the layout phase to ensure that drawings are accurate with field conditions.
Leading the installation of HVAC equipment and materials, to new or existing buildings.
Determining when extra labor is needed and arranging for additional workers to complete job requirements
Measuring materials for ordering supplies as necessary
Making sure that all workers are complying to OSHA and company IIPP.
Ensuring that our teams comply with local building codes and state regulations regarding inspections and or construction materials
Coordinating with contractors to schedule contracted scope of work
Compensation:
$28-$36 hourly depending on experience
