Summary: Responsible for managing profitability and crew production on sprinkler system installation on projects as required to successfully complete the project on schedule. Provides guidance and resolves installation conflicts to maintain installation schedules, productivity, and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develop and update weekly job schedules, track project schedules, including start date, material on job date, end dates, test dates, and all other milestones.

Supervise field labor and coordinate schedules, managing labor hours and job-site location scheduling

Coordinate material deliveries, delivery and pick up of installation equipment

Conduct frequent site visits and coordinate inspections and test dates with AHJ

Represent the company in meetings with general contractor, owner, property manager, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and regulatory agencies for project schedules, test dates, progress reports, change orders, or other information.

Manage multiple projects and make recommendations in response to changing conditions to meet contract schedules

Administer good construction safety practices and comply with all site-specific and company safety standards and reporting of accidents and injuries timely.

Participate in weekly progress report meetings to communicate the percentage of the job roughed in, the percent of the job complete and the overall status of construction. Additionally, communicate the expected duration of rough in, duration of completion. Observe and communicate changes to the original design.

Report any scheduling delays, personnel issues, safety concerns/incidents to your direct supervisor in a timely manner.

Review employee time sheets, reports, and training records for accuracy and submitted on time in accordance with company policy.

Ensure all assigned employees are complying with their job requirements and assigned tasks.

Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained in accordance with company policies.

Review all field employees per company policy. In cases where disciplinary action is required, suspensions and terminations are to be coordinated with the owner and HR Manager with appropriate documentation entered in personnel files.

Ensure that all tools are maintained in proper working order. If damaged, ensure that tools are labeled, indicating their status. New tools purchases are to be coordinated with the District Manager. Ensure that each quarter, each Foreman completes a tool inventory checklist and reports any lost or stolen tools.

Understand and follow IFP’s Safety program, IFP Handbook, Hazardous communication program, policies and procedures. Ensure all required safety training is scheduled and conducted in accordance with company policy. Ensure all field employees know where all related safety documentation are at all times on each project.

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience: 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in a professional manner.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and other standard functions.

Physical Demands: Employee is regularly required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms, and/or climb a ladder, operate lifts, etc.
