PDPlay, a commercial playground manufacturer and installer located in Escondido, CA, is looking for candidates to fill the role of:
Construction Site Supervisor
Overview: Manage construction site operations, including safety, personnel, and project progress. Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position requires some labor on job sites. Must be able to travel for extended periods on occasion.
Responsibilities -
Safety: Ensure that all workers follow safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and are aware of potential hazards
Personnel: Manage construction workers, including selecting, training, and scheduling
Project management: Oversee progress, including scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring
Quality: Inspect work to ensure it meets project specifications
Budget: Monitor project expenditures and identify variances
Communication: Communicate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and architects
Documentation: Maintain records of project activities, including daily reports and progress photos
Compliance: Ensure that the project complies with building codes and regulations
Other duties: Resolve problems and conflicts, Escalate issues to project managers when necessary, Contribute to strategic plans, and Identify improvements.
Qualifications -
5 Years Experience in construction management or a related supervisory experience
Strong leadership, organizational and planning skills
Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)
Valid driver's license
Computer proficiency with experience in MS Excel and Word
Recommended Certifications: CPSI, OSHA-30, CQM-C, First Aid/CPR
Compensation –
Annual Salary Range $75-85k
