Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in managing the alteration department, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are satisfied.
- Prepping gowns, steaming, and handling minor sewing projects with care and precision.
- Maintaining a clean and organized sewing room workspace.
- Pinning and measuring customers to ensure accurate alterations.
Requirements:
-Must be over 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US.
-Ability to lift up to 5-7 pound gowns and perform tasks that involve bending and standing for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Strong sewing skills (intermediate level or above).
- Passion for learning and a desire to excel in the bridal industry.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage tasks efficiently.
- Availability for a set schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10am to 6pm.
No bridal experience is necessary – we're looking for individuals with pretty good sewing skills and a willingness to learn and grow with us.
