Seeking fit/athletic, responsible mature male to assist my charming and active 24yr. old son with severe autism at home and in community. Weekends, Fri./Sat. or Sat./Sun. 2 to 9pm going out in the community then in-home till bedtime.
Activities include supervision hiking, biking, swimming, bowling, jumping, climbing, etcAssistant must enjoy swimming in a pool or ocean with client.
Responsibilities include transportation, protective supervision, and assistance with daily living needs. Duties include meal prep, medication administration, assistance with showering, shaving, dressing, meals and transportation.
Candidate must have experience working with individuals with Developmental Delays. ABA training is ideal but training will be provided on a continual basis. Playful but gentle firm nature is needed.
Applicant must have a safe car, current license, insurance, clean driving record and possible fingerprint clearance.
