We are seeking talented and passionate Barbers and Braiders to join our growing team! As a Barber or a Braider at Rich's Barbershop, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity while providing outstanding services to our valued clients. Whether you specialize in classic cuts, intricate braids, or both, we welcome professionals who are dedicated to delivering high-quality results with a smile.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide barbering and braiding services to clients according to their style requests.
2. Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and offer professional recommendations.
3. Perform precision haircuts, beard trims, and grooming services for men and women.
4. Execute various braiding techniques, including cornrows, box braids, twists, and more.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to uphold sanitation standards.
6. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients using excellent customer service and communication.
7. Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the barbering and braiding industry.
Qualifications:
Valid California Barber or Cosmetology License (for Barbers)
Demonstrated proficiency in barbering and/or braiding techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and passion for the craft of barbering and braiding
Willingness to continuously learn and improve skills
