Are you a licensed Massage Therapist who is motivated and excellent at creating a positive atmosphere? We are looking for new therapists to come work on the island with us for Spring. The positions is a full time. You will have the opportunity to enjoy all the island has to offer. Come work with us in Avalon on Catalina Island. To be considered please email us your resume. Very basic short term housing (for your entire stay) is offered for free, details during the interview process. This is a perfect opportunity to save 100% of your earnings. You will earn 30% of the service retail price. (www.catalinaseaspa.com) and generous tips!
Things to consider before applying
1. Must provide Massage Therapy license in advance via email
2. Tidying up after yourself and setting up in the morning is part of the job criteria.
3. To save have someone drop you at the boat terminal in LB to save parking a car at $14 a day.
4. We will provide all supplies (table, sheets, oils)
5. Its $75 round trip for boat tickets so plan to minimize trips back and forth.
6. Basic accommodations are available with shower facilities down the street for a small fee. The spa has a refrigerator and microwave. When laundry facilities are needed they are close by.
7. Come prepared to do 3-5 massages a day weekdays and busier on Saturdays. Being available/on call during our business hours (10am-8pm) is a must. We are closed on Sundays (Perfect day to relax and explore the island).
