Outstanding Biotech company seeks candidate to aid in routine set-up of the laboratory, perform basic experiments and procedures under close supervision, and assist with carrying out various laboratory tasks. The lab assistant will prepare reagents and solutions, perform simple laboratory techniques according to their level of experience, maintain purchasing and inventory records for the lab, and keep laboratory facilities clean and sanitary.
Qualifications
High School diploma/GED Required
Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion
Effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing
Ability to maintain accurate laboratory records
Proficient computer skills, MS Office
Ability to lift 50 lbs. floor to benchtop
