Responsibilities:

As a Logistics & Supply Chain Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations team, assisting in key areas such as:

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

Manage and maintain inventory and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless operations in our innovative R&D company.

Implement inventory control systems and processes to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

Procurement and Sourcing:

Assist in the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.

Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Logistics Coordination:

Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient handling of materials.

Work with logistics partners to streamline transportation and distribution processes.

Data Management:

Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supplier information.

Utilize supply chain management software to track and analyze key performance metrics.

General Business Operations:

Support daily business operations by assisting in administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication across the organization.

Participate in the development and implementation of business policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certifications in supply chain management or logistics are highly desirable, such as:

- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS

- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS

- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute for Supply

Skills and Experience:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience in inventory management and supply chain logistics.

Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier relationship management.

Proficient in using supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Motivated to learn new skills and support the operations team.

Basic understanding of business operations and administrative tasks.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
