We are currently seeking a part-time employee to join our team at a very casual but VERY busy medical billing company in Solana Beach.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, ability to separate from cell phone/Apple Watch during working hours, excellent communication skills, capable of multi-tasking (having a call on hold, while utilizing web portals or chat) and the ability to work independently. Experience is not required but some knowledge of the terminology is very helpful. (EOB, out of network, deductible, coinsurance, copay, CPT code, DX code, to name a few.)
Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day operations, customer service, but mainly claim status calls to insurance carriers.
This position offers flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate. Wages based on experience for THIS position.
