Hotel Front Desk- ASAP-

Hiring two staff members ASAP! Come get employed on the ocean! The Inn at Sunset Cliffs needs to fill an opening for two Part-time Front Desk Position, with potential entries into other areas if the right applicant. This position's shift will be 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3pm-11pm shifts, weekdays, weekends. This will be consistent. We like to work to have you on a set schedule. Work 24/32 hours per week. This is to be all year around. Must be computer literate and preferably have some hotel experience but we are willing to train the right person. Good social skills, and customer service skills (both in person and over the phone) are also requirements. All applicants must be OK with working alone at times, as well as work well in a team. Applicants must be able to lift 20-30 lbs at times.

We have a energetic amp'd, fun staff that enjoys working hard on our oceanfront property. All ages welcome to apply. All applicants are welcome. Front Desk Duties

-Check in/out guest

-Make reservations using our PMS (Must be computer literate)(easy stuff but serious)

-Light office work (fax, email, receive packages, etc)

-Concierge duties

-Light office cleaning ( wipe down desk, maintain organization, etc)

-Keep Lobby presentable

-Tour property occasionally

-Property walk-through often

-Troubleshoot hotel problems

-Handle guest request

-Handle VIP guest

-Work with little or no supervision

-Ensure property is safe and secure

-Enforce hotel rules and regulations

-Give property tours to potential event customers

-Be a team player with regards to front desk and event coordination.

Job Requirements:

-Must have open availability through the week/weekends.

-No Experience necessary but will help.(we can train the right person)

-High school graduate at least

-Professional appearance! This requirement is crucial. Do not apply if you cannot keep yourself clean and fresh.

-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

-Computer literate (Be able to learn our hotel management software, Google something, find directions, etc)

-Positive outlook on life

-Be able to lift 20 lbs. on occasion

-move frequently (bend, sit, stand, walk, lift, crouch, etc)

-work with little or no supervision

-Respond well to instructions

-Professional appearance/ Clean look

-Willing to work outside of normal job duties

-Fast thinker, Need to be on your toes at all times
