We are looking for an Admin/Accounting person that can join our Office team in El Cajon.
Responsibilities
Sending Estimates and following up with prospective clients
Daily correspondence with customers via email and phone
Timely posting of journal entries.
Record Cost from Vendors and pay them according to the schedule and record it in QB.
Issue invoices and solicit payment to customers and record it on QB.
Deposit checks and other means of payment according to schedule.
Process Payroll collecting the Timesheets and interacting with our payroll Company
Weekly reconciliation of Checking account and CC with QB, assigning the entries and cost to the right Ledger.
Weekly aging report (invoices)
Review or suggest policies and procedures and recommends changes to improve efficiencies.
Excellent knowledge of Quick books, Words, Excel
Very good Knowledge of accounting methods: Cash and accrual.
Good command of the English language (written and spoken) to properly interact with customers and Vendors.
Strong Communications and Analytical skills
Proactive and resourceful to work independently
Initiative and problem-solving mentality
Organized with good time management skills
Previous experience in managing Construction companies is a Plus
At least 5 years experience using QB.
Experience working in a small to medium sized, privately held company.
Demonstrated high ethical standards of honesty and integrity.
What we offer
Full time Job, Monday to Friday Min of 6 hrs. a day. Paid time off
Rate of 21-25 x hr. (DOE)
